We now offer three clinically proven weight loss treatments. Our Surrey-based doctors will help you choose the right option based on your medical history, weight loss goals and lifestyle preferences.
By Novo Nordisk. A GLP-1 receptor agonist approved for chronic weight management. Administered as a once-weekly self-injection.
By Novo Nordisk. The same semaglutide in a once-daily oral tablet — the first GLP-1 pill licensed for weight loss in the UK. MHRA approved June 2026.
By Eli Lilly. A dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist with the highest average weight loss in trials. NICE recommended December 2024.
Mimics GLP-1, slowing gastric emptying and reducing hunger. Helps you feel full sooner and longer.
Same GLP-1 mechanism as the injection. Uses a SNAC absorption enhancer to deliver semaglutide via a daily tablet taken on an empty stomach.
Activates both GLP-1 and GIP receptors. Improves insulin sensitivity and enhances fullness more effectively than GLP-1 alone.
Weekly injection. 16-week escalation: 0.25mg → 0.5mg → 1mg → 1.7mg → 2.4mg maintenance.
Daily tablet. 12-week escalation: 1.5mg (month 1) → 4mg (month 2) → 9mg (month 3) → 25mg maintenance.
Weekly injection. Flexible tiers: 2.5mg → 5mg → 7.5mg → 10mg → 15mg maximum.
All three treatments share similar gastrointestinal side effects which typically improve during dose escalation:
Mounjaro GI effects may be more pronounced initially. Wegovy tablets may cause similar GI effects to the injection. Our doctors carefully manage dose escalation across all treatments to minimise discomfort.
